Paper Towns
Paper Towns, by John Green, is a book full of love, happiness, and sadness. A boy falls in love with his neighbor who is also a senior in high school with Quentin. One day she disappears with no notice but leaves clues for Quentin. Quentin and his friends go on a journey to find the love of his life. This book had a lot of humor while at times being serious. I recommend this book for teenager because their are sexual references and jokes that suit teens the best. This is definitely a book I would read again.
Q&A
Q&A, by Vikas Swarup, is a novel that will have you thinking twice. It is about a boy named Thomas who grew up in the slums but later ended up being on a game show with a top prize of being one billion dollars. I thought this book was the best organized book I have ever read. Every chapter was a part of his life that gave him the answer to a question in the game show. I recommend this book to all ages because it is very intriguing.
Night
Night, by Elie Wiesel, is a true story about a boy and his father having to survive through concentration camps. This book was very touching because of Elie's relationship with his father and what being in a concentration camp can do to someone. Elie and his father survive through many obstacles in the book until his father died of sickness. Elie survived and was liberated. I loved how detail the book went into because it gave you an experience of this treacherous incident. I think this is a must read for everyone everywhere.
